Current mood: sad
I put Orbiti down last night. With Alpha Baby, it was so Chinese Cat Food quick that there was no time to worry... With Creepy Boy and his slow decline, there was time to prepare... With Orbiti Boy, it was like a week long meteor streaking across the sky... I knew, in both my head and my heart, that Creep and Orb would go within months of each other... I have had the two of them my whole adult life... Creep was always the Cool Cat who never did anything wrong... Orbiti was the needy, whiny baby who constantly needed my attention... And Orbiti LOVED me...
So here is the Orbiti Poem... I would whisper it into his ear on an almost daily basis... please feel free to adapt it to the fuzzy little human in your life...
Who do I love? Who do I love? I love ORBITI. I love his... little green eyes... And his little pink nose... And his little pink ears... And his little pink toes... And his BIG, FAT, WHITE, BODY!! (This is the point where you rub your fuzzy person's belly really fast while they look at you like, "What the Fuck are you doing?!!"
It's been a rough and wonderful year for cats. I hope you all experience such deep love.
Merp.
