More an event dedicated to underground mining in Belo Horizonte. This time those responsible for meeting the cast of the festival "Sound Massacre" were the groups Hammurabi, In Nomine Belialis, Eternal Torture, Drowned in Erebus. The suggestive title adopted to name the festival did not happen by chance, in order that all groups of abuse extreme elements of music, weight and aggression to spare.

The show also was marked as a special farewell the band Drowned. The miners prepare a tour into Europe with a view to bring all its work for the headbangers of the old continent. The tour will approximate duration of one month and will by countries like Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Czech Republic and Austria.

The good disclosure by the Annihilator Productions resulted in excellent public who wished to attend ugled addition to the main attraction, the other groups that not even having the same impact of the Drowned, managed to draw the attention and show at least seriously.

A them is the band Hammurabi, considered by many one of the major revelations of today, and let it be said in passing, the marking is more than fair. The band was formed by Daniel Lucas (bass and vocal), Danilo Henrique and Josias Martins (guitars) and Crislei Rodrigo (drums) rose to the stage with the responsibility to submit its new pair of guitarists, open the festival and encourage those who arrived early to give the start of the event. The recipe used for such purposes seems to have made certain. The band brought in their repertoire much of the EP "Submersos," hitherto reason for positive impact in the scene, in addition to seize and dump to the public, compositions that will be the new work, "Shelter of Blames" with estimates of release for the early 2008. An introduction followed by the song Avatar started quite a show of weight, notorious provision and satisfactory evidence that could also be seen in songs like USA Terrorista. The track came after a brief testimony of Daniel Lucas, who commented on the development of BH in relation to the metal scene and wished to to the band Drowned by the conquest of the concerts will be performed Europe. Who thought that the single tribute had come to an end was wrong. The singer Fernando Lima (Drowned) is a special guest on The end is near and joins the powerful riffs and vocals by Daniel. To close the fruitful set-list of the night, a beautiful claimed. Violent Revolution reminds one of the best songs of Kreator, becoming cause for euphoria for fans of the German group. As said by vocalist Daniel, the band does not play in BH since the presentation of Krisiun,  in August 2007, where the group was also one of the attractions. After approximate six months without touching the mining capital, the Hammurabi returns in style, brings news and opens in more productive than the "Massacre Sound," proves great strength in underground mining.


Resenha do show "Massacre Sonoro" no Metal Clube

Mais um evento dedicado ao underground mineiro sacudiu Belo Horizonte. Dessa vez os responsáveis por cumprir o cast do festival "Massacre Sonoro" foram os grupos Hammurabi, In Nomine Belialis, Eternal Torture, Drowned e Erebus. O titulo sugestivo adotado para nomear o festival não aconteceu por acaso, tendo em vista que todos os grupos abusam de elementos da música extrema, peso e agressividade de sobra.

O show também ficou marcado como uma despedida especial da banda Drowned. Os mineiros preparam uma viagem rumo a Europa com intuito de levar todo seu trabalho para os headbangers do velho continente. A turnê terá duração aproximada de um mês e passará por países como Alemanha, Bélgica, Suíça, República Tcheca e Áustria.

A boa divulgação feita pela Annihilator Productions resultou em excelente público, que fez questão de comparecer para prestigiar além da atração principal, os outros grupos que mesmo não tendo a mesma repercussão do Drowned, conseguiram chamar a atenção e mostrar no mínimo, seriedade.

Um deles é a banda Hammurabi, considerada, por muitos, uma das grandes revelações da atualidade e, diga-se de passagem, a rotulação é mais do que justa. A banda formada por Daniel Lucas (baixo e vocal),  Danilo Henrique e Josias Martins (guitarras) e Crislei Rodrigo (bateria) subiu ao palco com a responsabilidade de apresentar a sua nova dupla de guitarristas, abrir o festival e animar aos que chegaram cedo para conferir o início do evento. A receita usada para tais objetivos parece ter dado certo. A banda trouxe em seu repertório boa parte do EP "Submersos", até então motivo de positiva repercussão na cena, além de aproveitar e despejar ao público, composições que estarão no novo trabalho, "Shelter of Blames", com previsão de lançamento para o início de 2008. Uma introdução seguida da canção Avatar iniciaram um show de bastante peso, notória disposição e elementos satisfatórios que também puderam ser vistos em canções como USA Terrorista. A faixa surgiu logo após um breve depoimento de Daniel Lucas, que comentou sobre a evolução de BH em relação à cena metal e fez questão de parabenizar a banda Drowned pela conquista dos shows que serão realizados Europa. Quem achou que a singela homenagem tinha chegado ao fim se enganou. O vocalista Fernando Lima (Drowned) é convidado especial em The end is near e se une aos poderosos riffs e vocais de Daniel. Um atrativo bem aceito pela platéia e um dos grandes momentos da apresentação, que mesclou a furiosa sonoridade adotada pela banda com o bom retorno do público. Vale lembrar que Fernando Lima também participa das gravações para a versão de estúdio de The end is near, canção que estará no próximo disco.

Para fechar o proveitoso set-list da noite, uma bela pedida. Violent Revolution relembra uma das melhores canções do Kreator, se tornando motivo de euforia para os fãs do grupo alemão. Conforme dito pelo vocalista Daniel, a banda não toca em BH desde a apresentação do Krisiun, acontecida em agosto de 2007, onde o grupo também foi uma das atrações. Após aproximados seis meses sem tocar na capital mineira, o Hammurabi retorna com estilo, traz novidades e abre de forma mais do que produtiva o "Massacre Sonoro", comprovando grande força no underground mineiro.
