OK ...

So, february was SOOOO hectic for us i didnt even write a feb blog , so sorry to anyone who may have wanted some important info ! ;) Reason being we were preparing for fabric breakspoll .We did our first fully live show , and will be taking it to breakspoll spain also. We have some footage which needs to be edited before we show the world what Spec A live is all about . I'm gonna tell you a little bit about it now ...

The original plan changed slighty , with me ( Phil ) playing bass lines and some leads . Mo is playing leads and Dan is dropping samples and sfx . Now , drums is where its at , the kit sounds we have is fierce and Mathis is a total BAD BOY on the drums .There is the music sorted and to front it we have the ever professional vocal talents of Miss Trouble and MC Incyte on lead vocals and other guests such as Ken Mac and rapper Bobby whiskers .I cannot leave out the crucial silent member ( our engineer Codezero ) who makes sure we sound great .

The great thing about Spec A live is its a "real" band . Everyones roll is important/crucial to the overall sound which means if we fuk up at all , you can really hear it . This pressure brings out the performance in us and we are able to adapt our set and change arrangements of tracks if we want . Its been no easy task to get this all together and I was rinsed after fabric which i havent fully recovered from , nethertheless, cant keep putting it off eh !

Anway the Live thing you will all get to see at some point in the future .Its definately our biggest achievment this year so far ...

apart from that , what else is happening ?

We have finished Lot 49 remix of meat katie and dylan ryhmes -roll player . This will be mastered soon , release date i cannot confirm yet . Also there is Vadim shantor and stonewash darkness which we have remixed and is coming out on step sine..
You will also see Liberatae tutame ( spec a and xim n bass ) out in april on audio gore and we are currently working on a deekline n wizard remix for against the grain .
Not to mention Hazardous material Part 2 which is Hardtimes and Exodous R.I.P., this will be the release after NAPT'S kish mauve remix of lose control .

Dan got back from spain today , he played with beatassasins, FTL , er , ive forgotton the others . Anyway , bottom line , he smashed it , so big ups dj smart .
Other gigs we have are , Me n incyte playing in nice at volume .We get back and play essence of chi also . then its get ready for the mammoth gig which is breakpoll spain .
