Revelations

..:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

  1. God is neither man or woman, but is both, and yet neither.  One of the perks of being omnipotent.  He/she can portray themselves as whatever they like, whether it be male, female, or even a burning bush.  This is seen in many other religions also, such as Zeus appearing as a bird to many of his female playmates.
  2. God is the almighty, but is not the all lawful.  God is the true neutral.  Satan is true evil, but only because that is the card he drew.  He did not try to overthrow God, God just assigned him to the nether realms because he trusted he'd be able to handle that job.  The question is, who is true good?  The Bible shows two different versions of God, maybe the true good person was replaced, got too high and mighty (no pun intended), or maybe God just wasn't impressed with the job that was being done.  The Bible starts off depicting God as being just, but cruel, with flooding the world and laying waste to ..:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Sodom and Gomorrah, I think the change came about the time of Christ, with God holding change of command and then sending down Christ almost as a way to show the change.  This change also was a way to show that the need for sacrifices was over, God was making the ultimate sacrifice so we could stop.  All we had to do now was believe.  What do we believe?  As long as we believe in something, whether it be Allah, Jehovah, Jawwa, or even Buddha, I don't think God cares, it's the act of believing and the intensity of the belief that is important.  Why do I think God is not the ultimate good?  Well, what is Armageddon?  The ultimate battle between good and evil, when Satan leads his army of demons against heaven.  The battle is to be fought on Earth.  If God created the universe and is omnipotent, then he could wipe out Satan and his army with just a thought.  Pretty one sided battle, Satan would have no chance.  There has to be somebody of Satan's equal in heaven, with God being a mediator to keep the balance.  God gave Satan his power, and therefore could take it away, like I stated, this could not happen if God was in charge of heaven.  There has to be some motivation for Satan to attack heaven, and a battle that has no chance of winning does not strike me as his style.  Satan isn't stupid, he's remained in power in Hell for how many millennia?  He tempted Christ, but Christ resisted.  Satan is looking for an edge to balance out the power.  Heaven has an advantage through Christ, which is probably why Satan is able to get away with so much on Earth.
  3. Magic is neither black or white, good or evil.  Magic is God's gift to man, and therefore is totally neutral.  It's the use of magic and the wielder that is good or evil, black or white.  Many of what is considered to be miracles and witchcraft in pagan times was basically magic being wielded in the name of Satan or whoever is in charge of heaven.  You want to say God is in charge of heaven, fine, the miracles done in his name, all the healings, the speaking in tongues, the gift of sight, they were all pretty much just "white" magic.  On the same token, all the so called evil being done, of course was "black" magic, or magic done by those that worship Satan in some form and used his magic to do his bidding.  Or if not bidding, at least did something that brought credit to him in some form.
  4. There are three things necessary to do magic.  First, you have to have some form of ability.  Second, you have to have devotion to whomever's magic you are trying to use.  It doesn't have to be full devotion, otherwise there would be no one able to do "gray" magic.  I believe I have to believe in both sides, to understand both sides well and respect them both before I will be able to use my own abilities.  As one of the horsemen, I have to be true neutral.  I have to be willing to do necessary evils as well as supreme good.  Both sides will not be able to touch me, I am one of God's chosen, and as he is supreme neutral I will have to be also.  As the avenger I have to be willing to bring great amounts of pain to those who have done evil as well as I believe that I might have to do things such as bringing healing to those that I might possibly be able to save.  The third thing that is necessary, or maybe not necessary, but of great assistance, is a kinship with nature.  Magic is at it's strongest within nature.  For those without much natural ability, they need a deep devotion to their religious icon as well as a strong kinship with nature.  The deeper the devotion and stronger the kinship, the more it will enhance their abilities.  Most people do not understand this, and, as they have little natural ability, will never be more than illusionist and hand magicians.  Those that do understand it can go on to become at least respectable wielders of power.  Those that have great ability but don't understand are greatly hindered.  Now those that understand all three aspects will be truly great.
  5. Never underestimate the power of nature.  Magic depends on faith, and the less it is believed in, the weaker it becomes.  Magic will never disappear, it's just not possible to totally destroy it, but all the same, it can become so greatly weakened that it might as well be gone.  Magic resides within nature, and the more nature is destroyed, the less chance people have to get in tune with nature and therefore will lose a major factor of their power.  Nature is the balance of life, it is the home of many creatures believed to be mythological, and as it gets destroyed, their homes are destroyed.  Mythological creatures rely on these places to protect them, they cannot do like animals and move to another area.  When their area is gone, they die.
  6. I have seen water fairies, demons, ghosts, I know they exist.  But that was years ago, before I lost my sight.  What happened that it changed?  Was it the brainwashing of the Baptist church?  The psycho babblings of my demented ex-stepmother?  How do I get my power back?  I remember being lifted up from my bed and placed on the ground.  Was it levitation or something doing it for me?  It wasn't falling out of bed, I remember being asleep and waking up to my body rising about a foot of the top bunk, over the rail that prevented me from rolling out of bed, then lowering me down to the floor, shifting me back by about six inches to keep my head from hitting my toybox.  I also remember looking over one of the times and seeing my sister watching me as I passed her.  This happened more than once during my youth, but she only saw once that I know of.  How about the ring of water fairies when I was about five?  I was in my bathroom playing hide and seek with my sister when about fifteen little guys that looked like blue versions of the Leprechaun surrounded me.  They were about four inches tall, in a circle, chanting.  As I started to freak out, one stopped and told me not to be scared, they weren't going to hurt me.  I yelled for my dad and he looked into the room, down at them and said don't worry.  The ghost dog I saw in Italy.  I thought it was just a stray dog that had gone wild, a huge dog, about the size of a Great Dane, but looked like a husky that had been in the wild too long.  He had a scraggly white coat and glowing red eyes.  For almost twenty years I thought he was a figment of my imagination, until for two weeks my daughters all saw the same dog, this time his eyes weren't glowing, but the rest of their descriptions match what I remember.  How about the demon I saw as a kid in Connecticut?  About seven feet tall or so, red skin, huge horns, like the demon in Leviathon.  And once again, I wasn't the only one to see this.  Mythological creatures exist.  We all know this, so why do we deny it so hard that we no longer see them?  Why do we tell our children they don't exist so they learn to no longer see them?  How do we get back our gifts of sight when we do realize that we are not crazy and want back into that wonderful world?  And why is it that most of the contact I have had with mythological creatures (water fairies and ghost dogs) are Irish and known to be evil?  And why is it that these evil creatures are watching over me?  What has happened to my gift of sight where I could see the future?  All kinds of gifts that I had been given that I no longer have?  Have I been bound?  Who bound me?  How do I get unbound?
