I am on day 3 of a 28 day tour with James Keelaghan. In our Vancouver hotel, Jim mentioned that he always checks under the mattress of his bed, and spouting off a list of some of his great under the mattress finds, we lifted my mattress. There were two porn mags! I could hardly believe it! Not quite the find I was hoping for, but a find none the less.

The next night in Duncan I eagerly got into my hotel room and checked under my matress, but no luck. However the evening festivities did not end there... I was asleep in my locked hotel room at 2:00 am that night when I was awoken by all the lights in my room turning on. I bolted awake and there was this native woman standing in my room looking at me with as shocked an expression on her face as I was wearing on mine. She muttered something about being sorry and made a hasty retreat. I wasn't sure what had just happened, and was trying to convince myself it was a dream, when I noticed the lights were still on. It was for real. I went and turned the deadbolt in my door, flipped the lightswitch off, and went back to sleep.

The next morning I began telling Hugh this story, and before I could hardly launch into it, he asked me if a woman had been in my room the night before and then said it was all because of him. Let me explain... I guess his phone kept ringing but nobody was there when he answered it, so he'd hang it up and it would just start ringing again. So by 2 in the morning he'd had enough of this and he called the front desk and the woman said he had a message, but couldn't give him directions on how to get the message. Apparently he needed the phone instruction card, which wasn't in his dek drawer. So she went to look for one... in my room!

And so the tour begins. I will write more as the adventure unfolds!

Jaime...Hello from your new friends from Seattle. I've never been on MySpace or blogged before, so I hope I do it right.

We loved meeting you and spending the first three concerts with James, Hugh and you! When we left Salt Spring, we listened to your new cd all the way home to Seattle, it's FANTASTIC!!! Remember what I told you and keep those boys in line, it's gonna be a long trip.

I want to add a little something to your Duncan Hotel episode. We had friends from Seattle join us for that concert, and when we checked out in the morning, the little native woman apologized all over herself for coming into my friend's room. Of course they knew nothing about it. She told them she didn't think anyone was in that room. So now the story gets ever clearer.

We'll keep an eye on your web site and come up again so we can be your "favorite groupies".

Please give our best to James and Hugh, and tell them both thanks again for such a wonderful time. Hope the weather and driving conditions don't get too scary on this trip.

Always,

Teresa & Bax
