.... that's right friends the inevitable has arrived. kelly quit the rider and we have decided to lay it to rest, i won't say forever, but for awhile at least. if you are fortunate enough to live in albuquerque you can catch one of our last two shows this saturday at the launchpad. it should be a good time, our good buddy aaron burke is going to fill in for the majority of the show and jay collins will be playing a couple songs also. it is the annual mustache party and it's worth the price of admission just to see how creepy mike looks with a stache. then we will be rocking our last show at our favorite local venue, the mighty yucca tap room and as always it's free!!!! so come one come all and help us say goodbye to an era. june 27th.... oh yeah if you don't have the new record you should get it from us or somewhere, we all agree it is our best album. thanks for nothing and everything.
i love you,
frank

Wish I could be there! I am up in the Cheese Head State also known as Wisconsin :/

Since I can't I want to thank you guys for making great tunes over the years! I got my hands on a copy of a Suburban home sampler/magazine of some sort back in the day; heard Stereotyperider proceeded to get my parents to order Same chords online (I was pretty young at the time) and after listening I couldn't stop rocking out! You guys got me pretty excited about music back when I was starting to explore genres and labels.
BTW the new album is great! All in all I just thought I'd share my Stereotyperider story! The rider shall live on through all of our stereos! Good luck on future en devours to all of you guys!

Lost in the big city

You guys rock. You played my town (with bigwig) on an east coast tour back in the day, and i've been a fan ever since. I think i've gotten everything you guys put out except fairweather fan. It's rare to see a band that can rock so well and still play what i consider good music. Uncommon measure patterns, changing tempos and key signatures, good lyrics... you guys have made some good shit that doesn't sound like most of the other shit out there. I hope people can deal with all the songs that sound the same. It's too bad most folks prefer that. In a perfect world you would all be rich and famous, and you'd be banging hot chicks every day. Lots and lots of hot chicks.

Keep on making music, and keep the rest of us posted when any of you get into new bands or musical projects.
