It seems some people just can't get a break these days, while others get breaks of exactly the wrong kind.
Take our stoic lead guitar player, Bryon. I don't know what our Sultan of the Stratocaster did to deserve what he got, but the poor guy must be sittin' at the wrong end of the Karma Wheel.
Having just regrouped from helping his family take care of things when his mother-in-law passed away, he stumbles off a friends' terrace and busts his arm! And when you're a guitar player--not just for us, but for LUD and a zillion eager students he teaches for a living--That's a very, very bad thing. And it ain't fair, dammit! 
Needless to say, this may well put the kabosh on any Killer Filler gigs we have up on the ol' schedlue. If Bry's arm mysteriously heals early, or if we get delusional enuf to go out there in public without our star quarterback, we'll let you know. For now, keep your eyes peeled, as we'll be handling this new setback on a gig-to-gig basis.
In the meantime, send your good thoughts and prayers to Bryon; we know good vibes heal things faster, and (of course) time heals all wounds. And if you happen to see the man out and about, by him a beer. Or a BBQ sammich. Or a DVD set of "Ghost Hunters". Maybe it'll help that Karma wheel turn around to the good side.--Crispy
