So there it is!!  The album party that we (as well as many others) have been waiting for for so long finally happened last night, and it was amazing!!  We just want to say thank-you to everyone that came out in the beyond shitty weather of a MONDAY night to see what was, in theory, going to be an awesome show.  The night did not dissapoint!

Plight hit the stage with full force and played a flawless set (I lent Marco a stick so he could beat the girls off of him) and ended their set with a new track..... do I smell a new album in 2008 boys? I don't know... we will have to keep checking up on them!  You can find them in our top friends!  Thanks guys!!

The Integral absolutely rocked the house with their set,  with Dan Coole sporting the Neo gettup, they definetely offered an alternative to the red or blue pill!  The Integral tore everyone a new one last night and will be heading out to JAPAN (yeeeah!) in february  to bring what we all know as the thickest pillar in the Montreal rock scene to crazy Asia!!  Good luck boys!!  That tour is gonna be crazy!!

Thanks to all the family and friends that came out to support us on what was a memorable night and a special shout-out to the Montreal bands that came out to give Forty Birds some love!!  Thanks to Derelict, Endast, Stareblind, Ileana, Play the Angel, Avery's Descent,  just to name a few of the bands that I saw in the flurry of people...

Another special shout-out to all the ex members of Forty Birds (they were all there) who showed up to show their support for what has been a 6+ year roller coaster ride!  I personally have spent years of my life with these people, whether it has been sharing our love for creating music or just plain chillin'; it has been an honor.  They all had a hand in this album!

As we looked out over room full of  people at petit campus, knowing the album is finished and the support is there, all the members of Forty Birds would like to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for sharing a great moment with us!

What's next?  Well, for one, there are some new songs waiting to show their faces at upcoming shows so stay tuned for that, and we will writing a lot more over the winter and hopefully heading back into studio in early 2008........
