It must have been around November last year when I was tapped to be a part of a documentary to air on Discovery Channel. No doubt I was excited and all that.
In any case, the big day has arrived! The episode is going to air on September 18th at 9pm EST on the Discovery Civilization Channel. It features myself and many of the people I work with, in a few different capacities. Leah Hollinsworth and Charlie Randall, fellow Toronto messengers, are featured in the show. So is my super-producer, D-Ray the Kid, who composes my beats, and technical-sound-wizard DJ Sawtay, who accompanies me at my live shows, as well as UncleDropsi, the finest ragga-rapper/bassist in all Toronto. Also filmed were mechanic-extraordinaire Shannen from Red Arrow Bikes and the band asideffect, and several other people I consider to occupy important parts of my life.
I haven't as yet seen the finished product, but I'm super-stoked and I hope that everyone is represented in a compassionate and fair way. I'd love it if you'd all join me and tune in to see my (our?) culture exposed on the tube.
