Who Gives Kudos:

Monday, October 05, 2009
Hello everybody,

time has come to give you an update, now that lots of things are almost planned and confirmed.
Obviously, we are talking about our new album.
So, after two years since the release of Odyssea, here we are with a brand new work, and we couldn't be happier of how it came out; the new record is called Chronophage and it will be out on November 20th 2009 on Subsound Records.
Chronophage sounds exactly how we wanted to: with the most powerful and loud impact.

Tracklist:

1. Dr. Disagius
2. Cicades
3. Controversy (Act I, Inferno)
4. J.H.I.
5. El Hombre Loco (Desde Generaciones)
6. Crepuscolo (Act II, Purgatorio)
7. Milla
8. Libero Arbitrio (Act III, Paradiso)

It has been recorded, mixed and mastered during February/April at Hombrelobo Studio in Rome, by (the so called TMDE-fifth-member) Valerio Fisik: beside being one of the best sound engineers, he is one of our greatest friends. He supports us in anyway possible (as he says - "your sound engineer is your psychiatrist"), even staying behind the console during our shows, and this new record will blow your head away. Chronophage sounds exactly how we wanted to: with the most powerful and loud impact.

Talking about the writing process, this time we've worked more on the structure of the songs learning from Odyssea's pros and cons: in fact Chronophage brings with itself eight new songs played with consciousness and more awareness but with the same passion and love as we've always done.
The album features also the egregious Jimmy Bax from Inferno Sci-Fi Grind'n'Roll playing some synths and hammonds for us, what could we ask for more?

And what about the artwork? It has been handled by Simone Achille for Design The Divine (www.designthedivine.com) and it reflects exactly the meaning of the album: the Chronophage (from the ancient greek, Kronos - Phagos: Time - Eater) precisely. We recommend to check out his works, they are brilliant and they are just one-click away: check them out here.

As you can see, we have also posted a little trailer (or whatever you want to call it) with clips from the upcoming album, altough a new song will be posted later this week, so come back soon to check it out.

More posts will follow with the exact release dates depending on the country!

Sincerely yours,

Daniele, Edoardo, Simone and Valerio - TMDE
