Who Gives Kudos:

I bought new shoes yesterday. I paid for them and put them on and walked out of the shop. They are soft and comfortable and did a very good job of walking me down the high street, through the park and all the way to my cafe where I met little k.

She bought a piece of caramel shortbread and in her effort to break of a piece, she managed to throw the entire shortbread in millions of crumbs across the table. It landed all over a poor unsuspecting gentleman who thankfully liked shortbread. We had a short converstation with him while we tried to redeem ourselves..and then left in a cloud of crumbs and lumps of caramel.

We decided it was a good way of meeting new people and resolved to throw shortbread at strangers more often.

p.s. I'm going to find out my single release date this week..very excited.

Loving your blog as always!! Thanks for subscribing to mine as well. I am determined to post more as I've lots going on at the moment.

I think throwing things at people is often a good way to make friends. I shall also throw more things form now on.

oh yes i agree throwing things often makes a day out, as we found in cambridge when a balloon burst and my mum , in fright, threw her tea over the next table! conversation ensued for over an hour!lol

Don't know why but this reminded me of a day in Brighton when I shared my donut with a seagull on the pier, it swept down and just as I greedily placed, ok stuffed it in my mouth the seagull snatched it back out and gobbled it up in mid flight. It gave me such a fright.

Karen--Tales From The Foot Of The Bed

This reminds me of the time one of my daughters was quite young. She had just started learning how to use a spoon. As she dipped it in a small dish of ice-cream for another bite, some sort of vacuum was created, and she pulled extra hard on the spoon. Once released, the ice-cream flew through the air and landed in the hair of an elderly woman sitting near us. Thank God she loved kids. We all had a good laugh over it after multiple apologies from me, and a look of shock on my little girl's face.

Looking forward to the new release : )
