Here's what it is: Staying true to the Social Distortion tradition of mixing aggressive punk rock with a vintage image, Up All Night With The White Barons is definitely a kick to the guts. Like many Social D albums, Up All Night.... has the greaser look with more of a rock 'n roll sound. Straight to the point chord progressions laced with female vocals that could make a grown man cry--it's up to you to decide if that's a good or bad thing--, this is a disc that brings some balls back to rock n' roll.
