Hey everybody,

Sorry it's been so long since I've given an update but we've been busy since we returned from our European tour. We've been in the studio rehearsing and getting ready to record our new album! We should be starting recording next month so you can look forward to a new record on our new label in the fall! The band and I are super excited about the new songs and we really think this record is going to be a step in a good direction.

I want to clear up some confusion that some people have had. A few overzealous promoters in Europe have put us on their bills without having received confirmation from us. This was very troubling to me because we don't want to give any fans the impression that we were confirmed and then had to cancel. The fact is we have always planned to spend most of this summer recording our album and aside from a few dates (Montreal Jazz Fest and Fujirock in Japan) we are unable to play any of the European festivals this summer. I certainly appreciate promoters desire to have us on some of these festivals but I just want to make it clear that this summer we'll be spending our time recording. We apologize for any confusion and I'm sure if you bought tickets to any of these festivals that refunds will be provided. Please, don't blame us!

Anyway, despite that confusion we are still really excited for the recording this summer and looking forward to our trips to Montreal and Japan! Please keep an eye out for more recording updates as they happen and I promise we won't miss anybody when we hit the road again in the fall! See you soon

-Eli

Guess that explains why the festivals were not on your touring schedule... I was looking forward to see you guy at the Peer festival in Belgium, but hey, I'm also looking forward to a new album;-)

Thank you for explaining it. By the way, I hope that you'll play some day in Gijon.
