Anthony K. Pastore
Anthony K. Pastore, 56, of Marblehead, died June 14, 2008, at NSMC Salem Hospital, after a brief illness. He was the husband of Mrs. Loretta A. (Weinstein) Pastore.
He was born in East Boston, the son of Frank and Dorothy Pastore of East Boston.
Mr. Pastore was raised in East Boston and was a graduate of East Boston High School. He had lived in Marblehead the past 30 years.
Mr. Pastore was a friend of Bill W. He loved gardening and was a devoted grandfather. He was also a principal in a local Tai Chi club.
Mr. Pastore was a contractor and owned Pastore Construction for 30 years
In addition to his wife and his parents, Mr. Pastore is survived by a son, Benjamin Mottola and his wife, Michele, of Marblehead; and a daughter, Lauren Gillis and her husband, Andrew, of Marblehead.
He was the grandfather of Sofia and Marco Mottola, Lily and Benjamin Gillis; brother of Thea Hoffman, wife of George, of Connecticut, Karl Pastore, husband of Laurie, of Milton; and uncle of Luke Pastore of Milton and Rachael Weinstein of Middleton.
Mr. Pastore's funeral will be held Tuesday, June 17, at 11 a.m. in Solimine, Landergan & Richardson Funeral Home, 67 Ocean St. (Route 1A), Lynn. Burial will be in Waterside Cemetery in Marblehead. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are Monday, June 16, 4-8 p.m.
