for some reason we are sitting around with an american girl in london having breakfast

she wont stop talking

no breaks

here is some of what is coming out


i love making bacon muffins

i hate ham

bacon is so much better

the next time i brush my teeth will you play the ukelele for me?

did you see the new ipods

they are like super crazy

they will choose music for you

like sad songs on saturdays

i dont know what i listen to on saturdays



there is silence here

i hear a rubbish truck out on the street

a bird flys into the window and falls to the ground

i wonder for a moment if this american is a bird killer?


shes talking again now

do you wax your moustache

you should try it with wax

some people use gel which is dumb

i had a moustache party a month ago

i consider all things indi

cause it makes things less difficult

what do you australians listen to?

besides digeridoos?

which is really bad if you guys need to concentrate



oh and one other thing about my ipod is

its so old it doesnt turn off any more

which is really funny

What can I say to defend my sister American? We Americans are trained to FEAR the silent moment. (Would give us too much time to reflect on the reality THEY are hiding from us.) Thank goodness her i pod doesn't turn off--now she won't need a back-up.


I don't think she killed the bird, but I wouldn't rule out suicide. Which is really funny.


I live close to our local zoo, and all day I hear the toot of the Outback Express or whatever it's called. They built a dingo wall and everything.
What American music do Australians listen to anyway? What did you eat for breakfast, and do you prefer ham or bacon?

So, Tim Minchin gave you a mention, and now I'm checking out your music.
But, gotta go,
haven't swept the dead birds up yet from my front walk.


P.S. to one of your commenters, I don't think we Americans are so much a Breed, as a Mutant Offshoot. I'm pretty sure most of us would be proud of that though. Just remember, we might be fans too.
