Who Gives Kudos:

Tuesday, November 11, 2008
We just got back from an 8 day tour that had stops in Modesto, San Diego, Seattle and Gainesville.

We were very much amazed to find out we sold out Jazz Alley in Seattle on Nov. 6. Over 350 showed up to hear us play our new single On The Rocks. This radio station, KWJZ, has the two coolest, open minded ladies at the wheel. Carol and Dianna have a firm grasp of the Seattle flavor, and they thought our new tune would fit the mood and vibe there. I was completely blown away by the club, the station, the turnout, and the energy. Thanks you so much Seattle, it was an unforgettable night!

We also joined sax lady Jessy J in Modesto for another packed room at Jacobs. We had a chance to blend Jessy's Latin grooves with our funk, for a real diverse night of music.

And of course we had to put up with the 80 degree weather in San Diego at Humphrey's. Our plane left Modesto and 7am, we got to San Diego at 9am, and were playing by 10:15am at the KIFM Brunch. We returned that night for the Tiyarri late night show...very soulful..

Gainesville, FL has become a 2nd home for us. Thanks so all those who came out to see us and Jeff Kashiwa on the cool Florida night. WXJZ team was very warm and hospitable to us. Thanks Bill, John, and crew.

Matt,

You sounded fabulous. Spanking the guitar like that should be illegal.

Last Saturday night was colder in central Florida than NYC.

I am glad we came down from camping at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park to hear your show. Your cover of Larry Carlton's Sleepwalk simply put is spectacular. And yes, that tune does move me also.

Say hello to Jessy J for me when you are in the Bahamas!

Very Respectfully,

Howard C. Royce
