These talented gentlemen have agreed to come on board with us here in Columbus and are helping Ophir Drive redefine acoustic rock. Our debut show as a quartet was last Wednesday evening at the Loft on Broadway and it was a total success - check out our recording of "Black Horse" in the Myspace music player!! We're currently booking all over the Southeast with stops in NC, GA, and AL and are looking for more, so let us know if you'd like to see us somewhere!
We just re-designed the Ophir Drive website, so head over to
OphirDrive.com and let us know what you think! We're still adding stuff - like press, photos, and music - but the basics are up.
We're also working on writing new material as a group, and are planning to start recording a new album sometime in the near future. In the meantime remember to look for Harmonic Half Life on iTunes!
Finally, we'd just like to thank everyone here in Columbus - musicians and listeners alike - for being so welcoming to Ophir Drive and for helping us get right into the music scene here. This is one of the most active and most supportive local music scenes we've been involved with for a while, and we're really happy to be a part of it. We look forward to seeing all of you soon!
