Hi,

Next week, on the October 20th, I'll be releasing an album called "Mo Beauty."  I recorded the album in New Orleans with the help of producer Steve Berlin and some amazing musicians including Stanton Moore, George Porter Jr., Matt Sutton and Robert Walter.  To help launch the record I'll be playing a few shows at CMJ in New York City including one at the Mercury Lounge at 9:00 pm on the 22nd, and an early solo set at Piano's upstairs for the Brooklyn Vegan day party.  Saturday the 24th I'll be playing with Dr. Dog in Philadelphia, and will be announcing some more local dates followed by a full tour for next year.  I'll be playing these shows as Flashy Python, with my good friends Matt Sutton, Peter Modavis, Brian Ashby and Jonas Oesterle, and will be playing songs from "Mo Beauty," the Flashy Python record "Skin and Bones" (listen here: www.pythonspalace.com) and maybe some Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! songs.  Hope to see you soon and thanks for checking out the music.
