So we played The Bowery Ballroom last week and it rocked! Performa 05 asked us to play along with Japanther and it was crazy. Cindy Sherman introduced the Patsies who's lead singer is Barbara Sukowa. She was the star of my favorite Fassbinder film "Lola" It's his most poetic description of creeping corruption ever. It indicts us all. anyway. Mother Inc did a great set and then we went on and Bam we kicked ass!! the whole place was jumping up and down and I almost had a heart attack cause I was dancing so hard and I didn't want to stop but I'm not in the best shape. Then just as I was was about to die the set was over but I didn't want to get off stage. a conundrum. Japanther rocked too and had big monsters on stage that were cursing and threatening. As though the Apocalypse was upon us. It would be fun to play with them again.
