On Saturday I will be leaving for Peace Corps Staging in Philadelphia. I’ll spend 3 days in Philly with the other 37 trainees in my group and then we will be flying to Albania via Munich. We will be doing our three month training in a city called Elbasan and then I will move on to my permanent site.

I don’t know how much internet access I will have over the next few weeks with travel, training and settling in with my host family. I will post to my blog as often as I can, but I have the feeling that I will be very busy.

My promise about e-mails and letters- I promise that if you write to me (e-mail or snail mail), I will respond with a personal message. It might take several weeks, so be patient, but it will come! I also promise that if you send me your snail mail address, I will send you at least one post card over the next two years (people that send me things will get more post cards and letters back!) On that note, here is an address that I can receive mail at for the next few months- Please DO NOT SEND PACKAGES TO THIS ADDRESS!!!! I will send an address that I can receive packages at a later date.
