Hi folks, thought you might be interested in Muxtape which has taken
the concept of the humble 90’s Mixtape concept and moved it into the
realm of cyberspace where we can upload 12 of some our favourite
tunes for others to hear. Our personal little radio station. I’ve
posted 12 rockingly melodic, humorous and soulful tracks on my spot
on muxtape - http://gonzo.muxtape.com/ that you might enjoy I’ve also
written some notes about them on this email. Have a listen if you can,
post your own fave songs and please send me the URL so I can hear
them.

Best regards
Paul Elliott

1:Handel’s Largo (Intro)
This is an amazing piece to start things off and the first song played
on the radio by an American engineer Reginald A Fessenden on
Christmas Eve 1906.

2:If I’m in luck I might get picked up 4:59 Betty Davis This Is It!
Sexy singing from this raunchy women once married to CBS records
boss Clive Davis

3:Snake 3:07 Radio Birdman The Essential Radio Birdman
Lesser-known track from this late great Sydney band, from the Burn my eye EP

4:Camarillo Brillo 3:59 Frank Zappa & The Mothers of invention from
Overnite sensation
Toe tapping brilliance from rock’s greatest genius

5:Hey Jude 4:07 Wilson Pickett Greatest Hits
Fantastic vocal performance of the fab four’s classic

6:Rest Cure 2:47 Arthur Brown Fire! The Story Of Arthur Brown (Disc 1)
The flip side of the amazing ’Fire’ by this incredible showman

7:The Equestrian Statue 2:44 The Bonzo Dog Band Vol. 1 - The Intro Rock
produced by Sir Paul McCartney, such a funny great band

8:Spring And By Summer Fall 4:16 Blonde Redhead 23
Beautiful psychedelic guitars, such an under rated band now on 4AD records

9:I would be your slave 5.13 David Bowie Heathen
What can you say about Bowie - he’s a musical god and this is a great love song

10:So Like Candy 4:37 Elvis Costello Mighty Like A Rose
He’s dabbled in styles as various as punk, classical, R n B and Jazz.
This is a brilliant torch ballad

11:Satisfied Mind 5:58 Jeff Buckley Sketches For My Sweetheart The
Drunk (Disc 2)
Such a shame Jeff’s not around anymore for us to hear his sound
develop - this is a beautiful track written by Red Hayes & Jack Rhodes

12:Mr Blue Sky 5.53 E.L.O. Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind soundtrack
A nice happy sounding track to end this Muxtape - from the pen of Jeff Lynne

Enjoy
