I was watching a video clip of Alessandro Cortini talking about his Buchla 200e synthesizer. He said he mainly makes evolving pad-like sounds with it. I don't have $10,000 but I decided I wanted to make a similar soft polyphonic sound. I went in the garage, turned on my Sequential SixTrak, ran it through the Memory Man and ended up with this sound. It was not supposed to sound like an Aphex Twin cover. It was inspired by the Cortini interview. If you are familiar with Aphex Twin you might be laughing, I thought I should post it anyway.
