hey guys
just checking in...  just got back from an awesome few shows in New York, Chicago, and Minneapolis.  Such a great time and a great crowd.  I'm in the process of confirming shows down south with Aslyn.  we've had some scheduling conflicts, so make sure you check out the dates to see what shows are on... 

So, i'm trying to get more involved in tweeting and facebooking and well.... overall, how can i get my music out there without sitting in front of my computer and playing songs like everyone else.  so i posted the rockwood show and now we have a few live recordings, but i was wondering if you guys had any cool and different ways that you think i should try.  something that you haven't seen anyone do and have said to yourself, that would be really cool if someone.....  now let's keep this tame;).  just thought i'd open the forum.

So the August 17th shows in Raleigh is still on? Or is that being rescheduled? I live in Virginia Beach, so it's a 3 hour drive or so, and I'm taking the day off from work. I havent seen you since you opened for Jewel and Rob Thomas. Really looking forward to the show. Even gonna bring the b/f along, I wont show up about how great you are live.

..are we able to request your music on the local radio stations? cuz the local DJ here comes into my job and i could ask him. At least try to spread the word in J'ville, fl for ya. i'll carry a cd with me at all times to give em next time I see 'em so that I can do my part to spread the word. ..

I think you'd be able to link Myspace, your official site, and other sites your on to one another. I can't really think of any new ways off the top of my head to help get the music out there apart from the usual ways. Linking all the sites your on together could be a start? Cheers and sorry to hear about some of the schedule conflicts within the tour. Linkdin could be another site you could join and link things to that site as well......I'll keep thinking of other ways as, I too, am doing the same with my music. I haven't joined Twitter yet, and will probably do so in the coming days.

there are a couple of bands with a very cool push for providing live music to their fans: recording all of their shows, then selling the entire live set directly following the show via mp3's on flash drives.  may not help promote much to new fans, but would be killer for those at your show!
