Back in '72 a gifted Memphis singer-songwriter landed a one-album deal with Vanguard Records, and the eponymous
Bob Frank -- eventually, a hot collector's item -- earned critical comparisons to Gordon Lightfoot, Ian Tyson and, 'a barefoot Randy Newman.'
Since then Bob Frank has released several albums. He teamed with John Murry to record "Brinkley, Arkansas, and Other Assorted Love Stories" this year. Released on Memphis International in 2008, "Red Neck, Blue Collar" is a great collection of Bob's songs. The title track was covered by Jim Dickinson on his CD
Jungle Jim & the Voodoo Tiger.

As a songwriter, Richard has written and co-written songs for artists including John Kilzer, Jimmy Davis, and John Cowan. Recently one of Richard's songs was featured on Car Talk, a program on National Public Radio. You see him most often picking bluegrass with 2 Mule Plow.
