In my most fantastic dreams
where the colors seem to bleed
and the charmed life is what everyone leads
a charmed life even for me
someone always seems to leave
Even in waking moments
when I am surrounded by torrents
and have found peace apparent
my emotions are sometimes dormant
someone always seems to leave
whether through death or ambition
its always the same rendition
I am left in a wanting condition
because I had not the prediction
someone always seems to leave
And with the passing of eve
as I awake from the dream
and I have lived, loved and believed
that some one who always seems to leave
is me
