Current mood:  thankful
Greetings from Australia...

I'm not gonna lie... I didn't expect this place to be THIS AMAZING.

From the beginning in Melbourne, I noticed how nice people were... Everyone is just in a good mood... Maybe it's in the water....? or maybe its because everyone is attractive here...?

Either way... I have never felt more welcomed.

Melbourne was gorgeous... It was a really chilled-out city with lots of little cafes and top-notch restaurants... I ate really good there.... Now- I'm in Sydney which is wayyy busier! It's hard to figure this place out- so any suggestions would be helpful ;)

Me and Mike 4100 took a ferry to Manly Beach... (HAHA that sounded funny....) Manly Beach was really cool and touristy and many of the shops there sold stuffed kangaroo balls... Nuts!

The shows have been really good.... Australian audiences are very quiet and attentive... I did have a few loud people in the audience last night who happened to be from Georgia! Haha... figures!)

Overall, I'm having a great time... I'm already trying to figure out when I can come back...

I heard that a radio station in Melbourne called Nova Radio will be playing "Boys With Girlfriends" tomorrow night (Oct 16) for their "Crash Test" feature. I guess people can call in and say if they like it or not... If u r  in Melbourne... u know what to do!!!!)

(If you miss it, you can also E-mail them a song request at http://www.nova100.com.au/site/new_music/request_a_song.aspx)

The R&B station that I listened to all the time in Macon (97.9 WIBB) used to do a "Pump it or Dump it" segment on their show... Haha- It's kinda like that!)

Anyway... I'm hungry... Did u know they eat Kangaroo here????

Don't think I'll be ordering it, but Dayummmm- I never knew that!

I imagine it's a lot like deer...

Ok... Leaving the building....

epic story.. I'd feel awkward eating Kangaroo in Australia. It's like Americans eating cows i suppose? Not the point, bring me some stuffed kangaroo balls!! hahaa.  Wait?.. is that like a snack? or.. like a Lucky Rabits foot????? I'm confused now.

You know after all you have said about Australia, I am now considering taking a trip down there... Are you going to play anywhere near Texas in December; I get back from Iraq then and I'd love to catch a show I just love your music

I think a major part of the reason that everyone is friendly down there is because YOU are so good looking!

Take the ferry north to Watson's Bay. It's beautiful as everything is in Sydney, but it's calmer and you get a new view of the city. No exaggeration, the best fish and chips I've ever had were from a stand called Doyle's there. (There's a Doyle's restaurant too, but I just ordered from the stand near the ferry dock.) Centennial Park is another gem that's off the main tourist track. It's bigger than the botanical gardens (which are amazing if you haven't wandered through there yet) and there are incredible birds, like black swans, cockatoos, pelicans and others I didn't even recognize just roaming freely. Makes you feel like you're not in the city.

Also, go to a place called San Churro on Glebe Point Road. Wickedly rich hot chocolate and Spanish-style churros with chocolate sauce. (Not far from a Mexican place called Flying Fajita Sistas). Also on the same road is a fun weekend craft market with a lot of vintage stuff and hippy feel. Paddington is a chic area with a more upscale market on Oxford Street, including art and clothes from upcoming designers. All the boutique shops are on that street. Everyone is super classy and especially attractive.

Two different sides of Sydney, but I loved both of them when I lived there for a few months.

You touched on a MAJOR pet peeve of mine with the loud audience members from GA.  Why do people pay a cover and high drink prices if they don't want to actually listen to the artist?!?

..They eat a lot of lamb, koala and kangaroo!  When I was there I didn't have a choice but to eat it.  I was tricked into eating the koala and kangaroo.  The koala was served like roast beef and really wild tasting.  The kangaroo was served as a steak and was actually good.  They are a nusiance there.  Have you noticed all of the peoples cars with roo bars on the front?  Also I don't know if you're going into the mountains, but look for the wild Cockatoos flying around. Katoomba, AUS..

I would assume marsupial tastes different than mammal, not that mammals all taste alike. I wonder how it's served. Kangaroo balls don't seem like a useful product. All the aussiesI have met seem like really mellow stoners.

..Never got to Perth but spent a great deal of time "Back packing" up the Gold Coast from Melbourne to Cairnes.  It's cool how other people in the world mostly Europians and Brits travel from hostel to hostel and just meet other folks and chill, drink beer, and eat!!  I spent about 3 months just chillin' from hostel to hostel.

Melbourne ROCKS!!........If you get a chance to hang in Sydney take the train up into the blue mountians to a little town called Katumba.  It seems like an out of the way place but it's such a sweet little spot.........Byron Bay up past Surfers paradise is really cool.  Find the "green cookies" up in the rain forest.  Ask around they will clue you into what i'm talking about. ;)  it's a great little day trip from Byron...

Holy fuck I can't even believe it took me like 3 days to see that hahahaha thank you so much you just totally made more or less my entire teenage life but technically it's "Dabigmac" one word... like Madonna =P but its all good tho. I also find it ironic because you seem to have this weird thing for hotdogs I noticed idk =) but what happened with the stripper? You love keeping us all in suspense !
