Hey Everybody,

I was a huge fan of the original Knight Rider series...I was only 3 when it came out, so give me a break.  When I heard they were going to bring it back I was skeptical but somewhat optimistc too.  Either way I had to witness it, train wreck or not.

Well it ended up being quite the train wreck indeed.  Even K.I.T.T.'s "nano-tech skin" couldn't save the show from that crash!  From horrable acting, a very poorly written script and even the special effects, which relied way too much on CGI, left a lot to be desired.  The car was boring too.  It had a very sparse, stock looking dash with just a computer screen in the center console.  I think the original dash is more exciting even by today's standards.  Val Kilmer's voice is not right at all for K.I.T.T.  The Mustang is also to retro looking for a "futuristic super car."

The most exciting part of the show was Hasselhoff's cameo at the end.  You know these people can't act when Hasselhoff comes on and looks like Deniro compared to these hacks.   I mean c'mon, if you can't keep up with Hasselhoff, then you better go put in an application at McDonald's.

I hope this show dies before it destroys the legacy of the original which may have been cheese. but it least it was good cheese!

COULD NOT AGREE MORE. So much, in fact, that I wrote it all in caps. There are people, myself included, with FRESH NEW ideas. Let's give them a shot. Honestly. Let's try remaking the A-Team, but let's call it, hmmmm, THE A-TEAM. Now instead of 4 guys in 1984, lets make it, hmmmmm, 4 guys in 2008. Instead of giving them guns, let's give them, hmmmm, GUNS! A person's response might sound something like this, "Sooo....we're not actually TRYING now?"

NOTE TO THE INDUSTRY: Please give us a shot at making something GOOD.

Hey David,
Thanks for your comment...I'm glad I'm not the only one. Hollywood is a corporate machine, Knight Rider is only interested in selling a few more Rustangs.
