Le 10 décembre 2008, célébrons les 30 articles de la DUDH et engageons-nous pour le respect de nos droits fondamentaux. Un concert exclusif est offert par ARNO et son groupe, en hommage à toutes les victimes de discrimination, et en encouragement à tous les défenseurs des droits humains. Les bénéfices, en outre, seront intégralement versés à Amnesty International.....

Le 10 décembre 1948, 58 pays s’engageaient dans le premier texte international qui reconnaît les droits et les libertés de chaque individu. 30 articles érigés en remparts face aux bourreaux et leurs complices, pour que nos droits les plus fondamentaux soient respectés à jamais.....
60 ans plus tard, alors que les avancées et les améliorations se sont multipliées, et que les militants se sont dressés, chaque jour plus nombreux, le défi est toujours à relever. Et aujourd’hui, pour que la Déclaration universelle des Droits de l’Homme puisse continuer à nous protéger, mobilisons-nous plus que jamais. ....

‘Naar aanleiding van de 60e verjaardag van de Universele Verklaring van de Rechten van de Mens stellen Amnesty International en de Ancienne Belgique voor: ARNO in concert’....

Op 10 december 2008 worden de dertig artikelen van de Universele Verklaring van de Rechten van de Mens gevierd en komen wij samen op voor onze fundamentele rechten. Op die dag verzorgt ARNO samen met zijn band een exclusief optreden in de AB. Het concert is een hommage aan alle slachtoffers van discriminatie en een aanmoediging voor alle mensenrechtenactivisten. De opbrengst van het concert gaan integraal naar Amnesty International.....

Op 10 december 1948 ondertekenden 58 landen het eerste internationale verdrag dat de rechten en vrijheden van elk individu erkent. 30 artikelen als verdedigingsmuur tegen beulen en hun medeplichtigen, zodat mensenrechtenschendingen aan de kaak kunnen worden gesteld en respect voor onze meest fundamentele rechten kan worden afgedwongen.....
Er is ondertussen heel wat vooruitgang geboekt en dagelijks laten meer en meer overtuigde activisten van zich horen. Toch blijft de verdediging van mensenrechten zestig jaar later nog steeds een uitdaging. Laat ons daarom vandaag massaal mobiliseren om de belofte van de Universele Verklaring van de Rechten van de Mens waar te maken.....

On the 10th of December 2008, we celebrate the 30 articles of the UDHR and commit to respecting human rights. An exclusive concert is offered by ARNO and his group, in tribute to all victims of discrimination, and in support of all human rights defenders. All profits will be offered to Amnesty International.....
On the 10th of December 1948, 58 countries adopted the first international text which recognizes the rights and freedoms of all individuals. 30 articles erected as a protection against torturers and the other violators of human rights.
60 years later, despite the advances in the respect of human rights and the ever-growing community of human rights defenders, the challenge is still very real. Today, become a human rights defender.
