The Disposable Film Festival was created to celebrate the artistic potential of disposable video: short films made on non-professional devices like one-time use video cameras, mobile phones, point and shoot cameras, webcams, and other readily available video capture devices.

2009 PROGRAM: BIG-TIME PLANS The program, made better by your cool film, will premiere in San Francisco in January 2009 and tour the country–winning you friends and admirers where ever it's shown. Your film's just that good. The cool kids in Omaha can see the program too–it will also be available in its entirety on Vimeo.

THE PORTABLE FILM FESTIVAL We've made festi-friends with some awesome Aussies who host a festival with a cool twist: it goes where you do. They want YOU to take their 2008 festival into places new and exciting. Get your friends together, get your films together, and take Portable, well, portable on August 3rd, 2008! The festival has been viewed in places as far flung as Mongolia last year. Portable wants you to push their festival, and push the party, to the global limits.
