Hello again old friend.

So nice to see your face.

You know I've always been a man of too many words but right now I can't even find the right ones to describe your beauty.

It's a frustrating feeling; Me being speechless.

All I can truely say is, I loved you first.

I loved you most.

Now that feeling's a ghost.

I can't help that I lost myself.

As a young man I jumped into love more willing than most.

My heart bled within her clutched hand.

My soul splinters in her cold winds.

My eyes drown where that road ends.

I make believe everything's everything, we try to convince ourselves we're still close friends.

Both ends resurrect; Recollect torn flesh on exposed skin.

Old flames fuel fresh fires, we'll reconnect then accept it when it grows dim.

This old grin that used to tempt now solely exists in the future tense.

I long for its return, embrace my relapse to a grown man with a youthful sense.

Our footprints have become too intense. Let's tread lightly where we once were.

No one could ever recreate our sounds but for now my love songs still go unheard.

What words are left for us?

Let's discuss this latest compromise and watch our worlds crumble once again as one of us surely develops a monster's eyes.

I can't see through these agony-colored glasses.

It's unhealthy to turn back to the blaze that once burnt me and believe that it could now somehow help me.

Let's just forget about our sacred realm, we both helped burn it down.

If we take ten paces in opposite directions, let's never turn around.
