In all seriousness..yes this will be short..you know how long "serious" lasts for me! LOL

Negative people are like the plague! The drain is so subtle, you don't even notice it until you have almost sunk to the debts of their depression.

This story comes to my mind to have something to liken this to:

I remember one time I was parked on the beach. I decided to get in the water and chill out for awhile. When I got out, I was so confused! "Who the hell stole my car!," was my first thought. As my eyes scoured the line of cars..oop! There I was, WAAAAAY down the strand. I had been in the water, with a slight bit of a rip tide going on...nothing serious enough to ruin my fun. Well, slowly and without notice, I had drifted away from my original entry point.

This is how negative pessimistic peoples attitudes can affect you without recognition, unless you just choose to surround yourself with positive people.
Sure, there will always be the "negs" lol but you weed them out unless they are willing to shift with the tide of change for the better. Hmmm.
