Mothers Day
Mothers each one special, come in many forms
Mothers of girl scouts, and college dorms.
A Mother shows her love in her own way
She helps her children every day
Some are mothers because they give birth
While others just naturally help others on earth
Motherly instincts where love abounds
The protection she gives as her arms surround
Mistaken for a mother, at the age of fourteen
From a toddler, she learned to cook and clean.
The boy, thought hers, was a brother of Ten.
After that mistake, she wasn’t letting that preacher in.
No child of her own, yet a mother is she
She’s mothered children of all ages you see.
Happy Mother’s Day
