Hi guys
Thought it was about time to say hi to you
all and let you know what’s been going on.
The
David Cross Band:
Back in February we played a short tour of Italy [Rome and L’Aquila] which was great
fun. L’Aquila
was covered in snow and amazingly cold [-10C one night]. We played in an
amazing theatre in the centre of the city. It may have been cold outside, but
that didn’t make any difference to the warmth of the audience. They were
wonderful. And of course it came as such a shock to us all to hear of the
disaster that hit the city just a few weeks later. We were all deeply saddened.
After the snow and ice in L’Aquila
we played in a sunny and warm Rome.
The gig had such a great atmosphere; I just didn’t want to stop playing.
I here that plans are being made for us to
play in Italy
in the 2nd week of July.
Nothing has been confirmed yet, but as soon
as I know the schedule I’ll let everyone know. It’ll be wonderful to play there
again – I really am looking forward to it.

Music:
The first half of this year really has been
a busy one for me. It mostly been filled with session work and David Cross Band
stuff, so I’ve not had much time available to work on my own stuff.
That said, I have a few interesting little
things in the pipeline and I’ll still working away at the Curse of the 9th
music in my free time.
Cheers Clarky
