Day 849 (10/28/09) Paul Teutel Sr & his dogs!

Big thanks to Paul Teutel Sr for joining us on the show…he is the star of American Chopper, and now has a CD out called “OCC ROCKS” –it’s a great compilation of songs by some classic rock bands like Mountain, Blue Oyster Cult, Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and others.  Plus it features the Orange County Choppers Band, and on one song Paul “sings” (more like talks) on the the cover of “Summertime Blues.” Paul pointed out something that we didn’t notice in the CD artwork…there is a pic of him with his 2 bull mastiffs that features something he is sure the photographer didn’t notice:

 

Yes, it looks there might have been a female dog waiting for “” after the shoot!

 

We had a battle go down on air this morning…between Topshelf & The Rev!!!  All because the Rev farts in front of Topshelf while they are prepping for the show between 5 & 6 am.  It got pretty heated, it was awesome…at the end of the day it seemed like a communication breakdown was what caused the issues…Rev thought Toppy wasn’t really annoyed with his gaseous breakdowns, and Toppy thought he was clear that he wanted the farts to stop.  Yes, we spent time debating about whether or not to fart.

Huge props to Double R & Mono-Nick for going Homeless for 2 days/nights  as part of the Double R Challenge.  This challenge was made by a homeless man to walk a mile in his shoes. Double R, along with Mono-Nick hit the streets of  Seattle for 2 days & 2 nights to feel what life is like for the homeless.  He spent the night on the streets and tried panhandling to see how much money he could raise, and donate back to a homeless shelter.  We tried playing some audio this morning, but the quality was terrible.  We will have better audio tomorrow…so stay tuned.  Zyron wound up tracking them down, and like a good paparazzi photographer, he took pix of Double R on the streets!
