Hi Lukas, how was your summer?....
- This year it was really busy. A lot of
gigs all season long. Im very happy with this summer and I hope that the ones
to come are even better!....

What is the biggest advantage for you when
you’re now living in Barcelona?....
- I came to study in a audio engeneer
school. There was not such school in brasil so I had to decide for a city in
europe and my choice was barcelona. Besides beeing abble to study what I
dreamed, beeing in europe helped me a lot in my dj work. I was here in europe
so it was easyer for the promoters to book me. I could also keep a closer
contact with the professionals on the scene wich did a lot of good for my
artist life.....

What’s the main different for you between
South America and Europe? Is there something that you can’t adapt to?....
- Biggest diference is the social
diference. We are talking about 3rd and 1st world so socialy and economicaly
the difference is really big. There is nothing that I cant really addapt to.
Humans can addapt to what ever we need to I think. But of course there are
things I miss ore still not so normal for me here. The way of living is a lot
diference. The personal relations between people are very diferent also. And
besides that what I really miss is the food. There is no other country that
makes such a tasty food like brasil and that has such mazing vegetables and
fruits. That I really miss!!!....

You were nominated in some DJ awards in
Brazil... how valued are these awards in Brazil? For example in the Czech
republic these prices are not so predicative.......
- In the past it was
something cool. There was a bit of media over this. But thi prizes don’t even
exist anymore. By the time it was cool to have my name there because it was
like a prize from a lot of hard work and dedication. But personaly I never
putted much attention to this prizes. I know that the scene needs this because
they are used as promotional tool by agencies, promoters, artists, etc. But
hardly this prizes represent something real.....

What about your club? Are
there only techno or hardtechno nights or also some parties which are focused
on more commercial styles?....
- Unfortunaly Kraft Club is
not mine anymore. When I moved to europe I passed my part on the club to a good
friend that is taking good care of the club together with a few other
partners. About the nights and
styles that are played in the club. Kraft was always a very democratic club. So
its not focus on techno and hard techno at all. The club had and still has a
big variety of nights with a big and diverse range of sounds beeing played.....

Have you heard something about the Czech
republic from your colleague O.B.I.?....
- I heard a lot of things and not only from
OBI. Seems like the djs love to play in Czech and since some years I dream on
having an opportunity to go check it out myself. I Hope that people conect good
with me and that we can have a lot of fun together.....

You play often versus sets with OBI,
Fernanda Martins, Lexis, etc. What amuse you on playing ....
with OBI? And what is different between
playing with OBI, Fernanda and Lexis?....
- What I like the most when I play with OBI
is the energy that he has when he plays and also the intense way that he feels
the music. We are also good friends and its cool to share the decks with him.
There are big differences and similarities on my 4 decks projects with OBI,
Fernanda Martins and Lexis. They are all about playing a very energetic style
of techno with a big dinamic on the mixing. But the sets turn out to be very
diferent from each other because they 3 are very diferent artists. ....
With Lexis we usually play very hard and
very fast but there are some days with fernanda that we go even farther than I
do with lexis. Lexis has amazinly quick hands and makes a lot of fast and
precise cuts so the set has a lot of sounds coming in and out all the time.....
With fernanda is the set that im more
confortable with. Fernanda developed an great technic as a dj and I know her
style of mixing and te tempo of her tricks very well so we have a very good
conection on ouer set. We feel wich way to go and when we have to do ore change
something very easy. Its also the set that I can explore more styles of techno
if needed. We can go from a normal techno set to the most extreme Hard Techno.
Its great to play with her.....
With OBI its always intense. OBI has music
floating on his blood. He really feels what he plays and that makes him fly on
ouer sets. Because of that this set is the most chalenge for me. I have to pay
a lot more atenttion when I play because he just does what he feels so I don’t
exact know when the cuts and tricks will be on some days. But its nothing that
becames a problem. I know his style very well and we always have a good
conection on ouer sets so this chalenge comes only for the good. Its for shure a
lot of fun every time we can make a set together!....
....
DJ Rush helped you a lot in year 2004....
What does the person of DJ Rush mean for you?....
- Its hard to speak about Rush. Only good
things come to my mind. What he did for me in 2004 by bringing me to my first
european tour changed my life. Im very thankfull for what he did. He believed
in my work and I remember that constantly. He is one of the best artists I know
on this scene and I constantly learn from him. He is a teacher, a friend, an
amazing professional, an example!....

What are you listening to when you want to
relax? Something another than hardtechno?....
- I like a lot of diferent music. I love
chill out music, trip hop, jazz, many variations of rock, classical music,
brazilian music, among many others.....
....

Tell us something about your personal live,
your hobbies, your dreams.......
- Im a big sports fan with a special love
for soccer, I like to play videogames, watch movies, receive friends at my
place and just hang out with them. Im an animal lover also. I love traveling,
going out to listen some good music. Im a vegetarian, I recycle and I try to
make people realize that we cant support ouer own distruction on this world. I
dream to be old and feel good about the life I had. To feel proud by knowing
that I did the best I could and not only the best to me, but the best to the
world that I belong!....

What do you regard on OBI?....
- As I said before. OBI is all about energy
and music feeling. He feels the music like only a few can and he puts so much
energy in his performances. He is a great performer and its always fun to
listen him playing and to hang out with him!....
....
How do you imagine Apok(c)alypsa?....
- I Have a big expectation. To be honest,
im willing to see one of the best techno parties that I have ever seen in my life.....
