The Mercury Night Club - Sept. 2007 to Sept. 2008 - Seattle, WA

      Webmaster / Club Manager

      Website maintenance and layout, graphic and content design, print ads and flyer design. General managerial duties, logistics, retail ordering, inventory, maintenance, hiring, administrative, public relations, coordinating with various club staff to ensure smooth operation on all nights. Additional work in barbacking and security.

      Started in a security position and moved from security, to barback, to assistant manager, to manager within the span of 3 months. As a promoter, manager, and designer I garnered more traffic to the club's website as well as the club itself, created more external promotions, and organized several new and successful club nights.

Jewel's Catch One / Das Bunker Night Club - April 2005 to Aug. 2007 - Los Angeles, CA

      Print and Web flyer and advertisement design. Street, venue, and store flyering. Coordinating external promotions and public relations. Additional work in event set-up, band / DJ equipment load-in and set-up, décor, and set design as well as ticket and merchandise sales.

      Garnered numerous accolades for flyer and ad designs, as well as promotional abilities. Was an instrumental part of ensuring that one of Los Angeles' biggest venues was packed for each and every event held there.

      Legal Rapid Response Rep.

      Handling the triage of, investigation of, and response to pending legal abuse reports from myspace.com's userbase. Website maintenance, content editing and investigation, as well as general administrative duties. Working with myspace.com's legal department and various law enforcement agencies globally in efforts to stop abuse such as cyberbullying, identity theft, hacking, sexual predation, etc.

      In my initial two months with the company I moved up 3 positions. I was one of the founding three members of the Legal Rapid Response team, and as such I implemented  and set in place various protocols and guidelines that have helped to significantly expedite and better all of myspace.com's User Care procedures for the entire department.

Education:

      Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Web Design & Interactive Media at The Art Institute of California

Additional Skills:

      Proficient in MS Office/Word/Outlook/Excel, Photoshop, GIMP, Windows 3 through Vista, Apple OS X; Working knowledge of Illustrator, HTML, and CSS. Typing speed: 80 to 120 WPM.
