SOLITUDE

To my left I see the sun set
to my right is the rising moon
in front is a path not taken
a path of solitude

voices of mere laughter are shadows
distant but very persuasive
lured I take that step forwards
now trapped in a melancholy world

accomplishing daily tasks
is trivial to my perception
reading books reversed
I've taken to consideration

time flies
in a tranquil room of 35
no time to talk
no time for good-byes

this is my world
around the clock
