After two years of research and production in New York and Oskaloosa, Iowa — 35 hours of footage and hundreds of archival materials — we're well along the way with post-production!  The film will be completed in early 2008, and we'll be announcing screenings and release dates in the New Year. 4 SONGS BY ARTHUR RUSSELL

Jens Lekman, Joel Gibb (Hidden Cameras), Verity Susman (Electrelane), and Victoria Bergsman (Taken by Trees and The Concretes) are releasing 4 SONGS BY ARTHUR RUSSELL, an EP of Arthur covers, with Rough Trade Records.  We had the chance to film with Jens, Joel, and Verity.  And on August 20th they'll all be performing together for the first time at Kulturehuset in Stockholm (www.kulturhuset.stockholm.se).  We're also excited to be screening a sneak preview of a scene from the film. If you're in Sweden, it'll be an amazing night not to be missed.
