Adam Lawson is a singer/songwriter from Kingsport,TN.
On his debut cd, "Loose Lips Sink Ships", Adam wrote & performed all the songs with just an acoustic guitar, a harmonica, and his own honest voice.
From the perfectly minimal instrumental album opener & title track (and in my opinion, one of the best titles ever) to the somber closer "Wasting Daylight", these seven acoustic testimonies express a panorama of emotions. Among them, loss & loneliness, heartbreak & betrayal, regret & redemption, strength & the willpower to keep going no matter how bad things seem.
Downtrodden at times, hopeful at others, this EP (which is longer than many artists' full lengths) plays like an autobiography of a broken man trying at all costs to repair himself. Highly recommended, especially for fans of the Avett Brothers, Bright Eyes(especially the more melancholy side of these artists), Bob Dylan & Townes Van Zandt.
