Okay, so apparently, no one else really knows anything about laptop bags, because none of you commented to give me any advice.  So.  I now consider myself a self-proclaimed laptop bag expert, and if anyone else needs advice on finding and selecting one, I think I've seen every single bag out there at this point!  One new website I found and really liked to show various bags in various price ranges, sizes, etc: www.kolobags.com.

Still - did not end up buying the bag I selected from them; I just got it at eBags.  I love it, though; it's really cool and unique but still works quite well in a professional environment, and it will be here in time for the London trip.  I did spend a little more on it than I'd hoped, but certainly not $300.  And while it was a bit pricey, I do think it will last me for a long time, so I'm okay with it.  Want to see it?  Go to http://www.mckleinusa.com/wseries/9495.html.  That's the manufacturer's website instead of the eBags product page, because the manufacturer has a better photo of the interior of the bag.  I got the red one with black trim.
