Cyber-Criminals Never Knock Before They Attack!

Cyber-crime has become the fastest growing criminal enterprise in history!

When you add all the different types of cyber-crime it's fast rivaling illicit drugs as the most profitable illegal business today.

EUCs (Electronic Underworld Cartels) now control over 85% of all the cyber-terrorism taking place today.

According to Symantic's 10th annual cyber-crime report released earlier this year, reported

"Cyber-criminals are now starting to target home users quite heavily primarily because home users are the weakest link in the security chain..."

The two biggest venerabilities are Email and Social Networking Sites.

These two venerabilities made up 69% of all attacks came through these two venerabilities in the first half of the year.

Viewing a seemly innocent web page opens a port into the computer. Or a wrong mouse click... on a photo, video or even an "email Submit" button can download a malicious piece of code that can change your life forever.

So let's take a look at the most common Deadly Myths of Internet Security.
  • Deadly Myth 1 - I don't have anything on my PC a hacker would want.
  •
  • Deadly Myth 2 - Preloaded off-the-shelf Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware and a Firewall is all I need.
  •
  • Deadly Myth 3 - The "Free" Internet security programs I found online are good enough.
  •
  • Deadly Myth 4 - My high-speed modem has a built-in firewall... I know I am safe.
  •
  • Deadly Myth 5 - I am on a secured network, so I must be totally protected.
  •
  • Deadly Myth 6 - My ISP (Internet Service Provider) keeps me safe with their free downloaded security software.
  •
  • Deadly Myth 7 - The Government will do something about cyber-crime.
  •
  • Deadly Myth 8 - Microsoft and my PC manufacture will take care of my Internet Security needs.
  •
  • Deadly Myth 9 - The most famous last words... "It won't ever happen to me!"
On a personal note, last week my son turned off our MISS (Managed Internet Security Service) on his PC.  This service has been called the best MISS for the home PC user.

Well, when he turned it off to download a new file for an online game he was playing, a hacker dropped a piece of malious code onto his system which allowed the hacker to turn his PC into a Zombie.  Part of a botnet system that was able to send over 1 million pieces of emails in less than 24 hours.

Our ISP shut down our account and it took me an additional 5 hours to convince them we were not spammers.

I challenge you right now to test your system!  Make sure you have not already fallen victim to some cyber-criminal.

If you are interest in the service I use personally you can go to StopCyberCrimeNow.com!

Think about it for a second... What is your family and privacy worth?

If your car needs new brakes are you going to buy inexpensive brake pads, or worse yet take them to a neighbor who is going to read how to put them on from a book?

Then why rely on cheap and free security software for your family's security?

Never Give Up,

Troy Dooly

p.s. Protecting your family on the internet is not enough. You need a full protection, monitoring and recovery both on and offline.
