So, the power went out last Saturday night? My days are all screwed up. I think we taped it on Sunday. I got dressed and put some make up on by the kitchen window (not that it mattered it all blew off). We had an Ipod player that still had some juice in it but I could barely hear the song since that little player sucks! Anyway, we had to tape it a few times because I kept losing the audio. The weather got pretty nasty at the end but it made for good video I think.
How the hell was I going to edit it together if I couldn't charge my laptop? Well, we found an old power inverter and hooked it up to my car... It was fun and something to do for a while. We're probably going to evacuate for Ike. Living without electricity BITES!

But...

We figured out how to make a stove with Tea lights in a pot and a small rack. We made coffee by emptying out tea bags and filling them with coffee. Also, that power inverter turned my car into a generator to run a fan. It got old fast! What is all this talk about tea bags and racks?..
