                             BY THE FANS FOR THE FANS!!!!

While I realize I'm kinda preaching to the choir here, I feel a simple reminder is sometimes appropriate. Collectively we are EXTREMELY fortunate to have OUR very own little grassroots rock festival every summer. WHEELIEFEST defines the term grassroots and is truly a cooperative event that every person here has a major say in the bands that are chosen and the way the entire event is run... BY THE FANS FOR THE FANS!!

That all said, typical traditional advertising has proven mostly ineffective over the years and lord knows I've tried newspapers, radio, TV, myspace, giveaways, etc. Let's face it, we're the DIEHARD 1%-ers and the majority will never understand or appreciate our passion or undying dedication to our solid REAL ROCK convictions. Reality is it's solely up to EACH one of us to bring new blood to WHEELIEFEST. Word of mouth has ALWAYS been the only truly effective means of marketing WHEELIEFEST. WF is more a cultural activity then just a simple rock concert. Thus my challenge to everyone remains the one I mentioned onstage after WF8(remember the chant?). If EVERYONE finds just ONE new person to bring to WHEELIEFEST, even if you have to front their ticket, pack their gear, lend them a sleeping bag or find their old drinkin' shoes, just force them into the car and FORCE THEM TO HAVE FUN because ultimately we all know our friends NEED to have FUN AGAIN and is there any more fun then @ WHEELIEFEST??!! They will THANK YOU afterwards.

           ARE YA WITH ME?? NOW GET TO WORK!!!!
