================================

THE ACES, from California, are presented to the world
by the hand of El Toro Records, and offer a mix of elective rock'n'roll, blues and rock
formula easy and effective, powerful guitars and harmonica tireless, coupled with a voice of black roots and stamp torn.
There are few groups that are emerging in recent years that keeping the roots deeply
anchored in the classic rock'n'roll, or any of its ingredients, have no problem in adding
elements from outside the pot. The Aces are part of this club.

Most songs of this album boast hypnotic rhythm, which is taken to extremes in two real
gems; STOLE SOMETHING FROM ME and Need Your Lovin ', good top ten for kicking the
ground, especially the last, with a harmonic puts me very hard. In court like we're gonna
lose, great item to open the disc that leaves us with pretty clear what we are, and in a
similar vein HOUSE ON THE HILL and KANKA KANKA, while in a record but merely have
roots in the blues from Drinkin 'Song, cutting more rural, to outbursts as DOWN IN THE
CAVE, with a taste for blues in the late 60's around which so many hippie commune with
the gods.

Besides this one issue as SHED SOME LIGHT ON ME breaks the mold and is closer to rock
than anything else.

An interesting album that shows us a band and a style pontente very strong, who dare to
experience in the substance and in form, reaching his recordings include instruments like
the sitar or the mouth harp.

Do not miss the ACES.
