American Princes are preparing for another extended stay in NYC this
month upcoming--very apropos after getting love from both Brooklyn
Vegan and The New York Times last week. Thus, we have three excellent
shows we're excited to announce.
First, on Tuesday July 14th we'll return to our favorite venue at
which to play early in Manhattan: The Mercury Lounge. We'll be going
on at 7pm, so I hope you will all be there to drink on an empty
stomach. Dinner can wait. As Dave often says, we make good apps.
Don't worry Brooklyn. Even though we've made a couple of trips to
the city recently and neglected your borough, that business is Collins'
home. So, we couldn't come back yet again without playing in the
lion's den: Williamsburg. On Friday July 17th we'll be appearing at
Union Pool (the den of dens?). And, we're very excited to be playing
there with our good friends--an excellent band--The Weight. Lemme tell
y'all, we go way back.
Finally, on Tuesday July 28th we'll be back at the best little room
in the Lower East Side: Pianos. We'll go on there at 10PM sharp, and,
as always, there will be hang time afterwards at the upstairs lounge.
Yes, that does mean we will once again try to consume all the brown
stuff in the bar. Therefore, we need your help, lest we want
to be giving Matt a cab ride to the hospital again. We're kidding, of
course. Matt could out-drink David Lee Roth. But if he did
happen to need hospitalization, there's a chance Diamond Dave would be
the ambulance driver. We know you know what we're talking about.
Point is, don't miss it.
