Current mood:  content
Category: Parties and Nightlife
We have decided that we are no longer going to play at all ages shows.  We are going to be playing at Changing All The Rules on November 15th & United (the Toys 4 Tots benefit) but will not be accepting any more bookings for any events that do not have an age limit of AT LEAST 16+.  Even in that case, it will only be considered on a case by case basis.

Our love of the music and the Colorado scene is strong.  Speaking only on my behalf, my DJ career is nearing an end.  I'm getting too old for this shit... lol.  I'm not announcing any kind of retirement yet, but I feel that it's around the corner.  As much as we love our fans and love what we do, we can no longer pretend to be oblivious to the underage drug use that has been allowed to happen.

We will no longer support events that allow young kids in to their shows.  I used to be quite outspoken about setting age limits on events and finally gave up on my fight years ago due to the backlash I received from it.  I believe it is wrong to allow underage people participate in an environment where drugs and alcohol are available to them.  What really made me snap recently was an event Polymorph & I DJ'd at a few weeks ago where there were 12 year old girls using ecstasy.  That's just too young and completely inappropriate and we will no longer participate in making it happen.

Moving forward, Polymorph & Jazzmin T will not be appearing at ANY all ages shows (again, with the exception of the two we are already committed to).  We will accept 16+ bookings on a case by case basis.  Otherwise, we will only participate in 18+ events.

Thank you for understanding our decision.

Sincerely,

Jazzmin T

12 YR OLDS??? That is just ridiculous. Door people need to be doing their job and checking I.D.'s better, and these kids' parents need to keep them in the house if thats the kind of stuff they are doing when they go out.

Nice way to make a stand for something ethical... Exactly the reason I now throw club events & am no longer involved with the rave scene
