       We have been swamped with band friend requests and event notices, comments advertising thier show, cds and new tunes along with advertising messages.

In an effort to cut down on this we have blocked all bands from sending us friend requests. If you'd like to be added as a friend, simply send an email to info@johnnyphilko.org You will be met with a spam filter, but it is very nice and won't bite.

Another policy that we have enacted is to block bands that have already gotten in as soon as they post a comment on our page advertising whatever they are advertising or send a message advertising anything or an event notice if we don't know you or it is more than 50 miles away from where we are.

A better alternative is to collect email addresses from people who are really interested in your band and send them an email for your show.
