Oh, to be free. Free to dream. Free to experience. Free to experiment. Free to choose.
Sometime we take it for granted. We come into this world on a string. When the string is severed we are "cut loose" to venture into life's amazing maze. I am happy that the spirit of freedom stirred the hearts of early Americans to inspire them to be free at any cost--even death. Remember from American History Class the words of Patrick Henry, "give me liberty or give me death"?
To live without being free is death. The 4th of July prompts this nation to celebrate it's freedom.
Real freedom begins within. I admire Martin Luther King who said for us to "let freedom ring". What so cool about that statement is that freedom makes a sound. When you hear the blast of fireworks in the night, be reminded that freedom makes a sound.
From this day forth I will explode into life. My freedom will make a sound!
All the best,
Willie Norwood
