Current mood:MATCH OF THE DAY!!!

Yesterday was day one of recording over this week end, and it went extremely well.

We arrived at 10 and set up the drum kit and got it looking mighty fine. Dom recorded some backing tracks and we sorted out all the metranome speeds and stuff.

At about 1 I recorded the first drum track and it went really well and did it pretty quick too. Then we had an hour lunch break in town until 2.45, bought some pick n mix and got fat.

When we got back we got straight back onto drums and got the last two tracks done by about 4 and was quite pleased with them.

Then we had to do a large amount of shifting to set up Richard's stuff to record and it didn't look like we'd get him finished by the end of the day, but he did really really well and did two of the three songs perfect first take, and the last song in 2 takes, awesome.

Then we set up the guitar amps for this morning and we're getting ready to go back!

Ben and Dom xxxxxx

The songs SHOULD be up tonight and they are:

1.Count in Lucky Numbers
2.Today I Consider Myself  The Luckiest Man On The Face Of The Earth
3.The World Forgetting by the World Forgot.

Yes the names are long, but.... they're good?

PS. You should watch the documentary LOOSE CHANGE edition 2. It's all about conspiracies of September 11th and it's one of the most clever and interesting things I have watched for a very long time... go get it! (I dont know where...).
