Announcing the new partnership between myself and Vesuvius Records EPC in Rialto, California. MC and I have discussed the plan for me to fly to Rialto and begin documenting and photographing the bands in this little pocket of California. MC is originally from Iowa - he was in the infamous Pompeii V in Iowa City, back in 1995. Now he is the owner of a recording studio in what he refers to as an Iowa City sister city.

I am looking forward to beginning a new project and adventure - meeting new people and a whole new generation of musicians in Rialto, California. Keep posted - most likely this new project will begin sometime soon!

Hey Sandy,

This sounds like a great project! But, here's the thing: The IC "sister city" does not get to keep you. They may borrow you (and pay you tremendously well, I hope) for this project, but then Iowa gets you back. That's the deal. I'm firm on this.

I hope you have a fabulous time shootin them Californians. They're lucky as everything to get you.
